Nine bedrooms sit within two late-eighteenth-century farm cottages and a west wing we raised in 2005. A holiday cottage, Ploughman’s, stands in the grounds. Four holiday homes rest on a gentle lawn beyond the hedgerow. All of it is surrounded by three acres, and, past the fence, by Sherwood Forest.
We cook the breakfast ourselves. We know where the best walks begin. We keep one room on the ground floor with a wheelchair-accessible wet room, because guests asked. We keep a field for the dogs, because guests asked. We remember your coffee the second time you come.

The original farm cottages face south onto Newlands Road, their Georgian symmetry intact. Five single rooms sit within the old stone. The 2005 west wing, four deluxe king rooms, reads in the same language: tiled roof, leaded windows, chimneys at each gable.
On quiet mornings you can hear the horses along the bridle path behind the kitchen garden.
